Terms of Service

By using QB Portal, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1.The Service

QB Portal provides a B2B ordering portal and operations platform that integrates with QuickBooks Online. The service includes a customer-facing storefront, driver delivery management, route planning, and online invoice payments.

2.Your Account

  • You must have a valid QuickBooks Online subscription to use QB Portal.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • You must be authorised to connect your QuickBooks account to QB Portal.
  • Business accounts may have multiple users (portal customers, drivers).

3.QuickBooks Integration

  • QB Portal accesses your QuickBooks data solely to provide the service.
  • You authorise QB Portal to create invoices, sync customers, products, and payments on your behalf.
  • QB Portal does not modify your QuickBooks financial data beyond what you explicitly initiate through the platform.
  • You can disconnect QB Portal from your QuickBooks account at any time.

4.Payments

  • Online invoice payments are processed by Stripe on your behalf.
  • QB Portal charges a platform fee (see current pricing). Stripe processing fees apply separately.
  • Autopay and dunning features are enabled at your discretion.
  • QB Portal is not responsible for failed payments or payment disputes between you and your customers.

5.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for illegal transactions.
  • Attempt to access other businesses' data.
  • Reverse engineer or scrape the platform.
  • Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.

6.Service Availability

  • QB Portal targets 99.5% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by QuickBooks, Stripe, or other third-party services.

7.Limitation of Liability

QB Portal's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8.Termination

  • You may cancel your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • On termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted upon request.

9.Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.

10.Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
